Last year’s tournament ended with a thrilling three-man sudden death playoff for the championship. Do not miss out on the chance to watch some of the world’s top golfers battle for top prize on the Old White Course at the historic Greenbrier in White Sulphur Springs, West Virginia. Tiger Woods, Phil Mickelson, Sergio Garcia, and Tom Watson are all expected to play.

The auction opens at 9am ÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂon Wednesday, June 13 and closes at 2pm on Friday, June 22. Â Bidders can rebid at any time until the closing date. The highest bid wins and the winner will be announced Monday, June 25.
The Greenbrier Classic is a PGA Tour FedEx Cup event and runs from July 2 through July 8, 2012. Measuring nearly 7,000 yards and playing to par 70, The Old White Course originally was designed by Charles Blair MacDonald and reopened in 2006 after an extensive renovation by Lester George which returned it to its original design. In preparation for the tournament, minimal course modifications are expected to add a couple of tees and the practice facility will be enhanced.
Arthurdale was founded in 1933 as the nation’s first New Deal Subsistence Homestead Community by President Franklin D. Roosevelt’s administration. The community provided jobs, education, and modern housing for impoverished, unemployed miners living in destitute coal camps in West Virginia. It also served as a laboratory for new educational, industrial, and farming techniques. Arthurdale Heritage, Inc. was formed in 1985 as a non-profit organization dedicated to restoring and preserving historic Arthurdale.
