Volunteer with Us

Would you like to get involved? We have a wide variety of opportunities for volunteering with Arthurdale Heritage. Whether you annually serve at the New Deal Festival, occasionally paint windowsills, or help plan Arthurdale's future, we need your skills and talents. Students are welcome, too! This is an opportunity to build your volunteer resume.

Support

Arthurdale Heritage can always use an extra hand to help with the various day-to-day tasks we have to complete!

Tour Guides

During the spring, summer, and early fall we rely on volunteer tour guides to help interpret our historic site for visitors. If you are interested in showing people around and welcoming them to our lovely community, sign up to become a tour guide!

Preservation Volunteers

We need people who are skilled (or have experience) to help with building and repair maintenance.  We also need people who want to help care for our goats or maintain our grounds (including the Veterans memorial area, flower beds, goat barn, tree planting, and other assorted landscaping).

Event Volunteers

Our events have historically been primarily how most people get involved with AHI. The valuable support of volunteers makes everything run smoothly. Typically we need help serving food, cleaning, setting up, tearing down, parking cars, collecting tickets, selling food, etc.

Office Support

Help out by volunteering in the AHI office. We need help with mailings, filing, cleaning, answering the phone, etc.
