In Memory of Marilee Hall

It is with profound sadness, we share with you the news of passing of Marilee Hall. As one of its earliest members, she worked closely with Arthurdale Heritage’s founding angel Glenna Williams. In 1998 Glenna said it best “Marilee, you not only kept the Dream alive, you were not afraid to dream big…. You kept up your enthusiasm and poured your heart and energy into the job…. Thanks for your dedication and caring.” Marilee was a founding member of Arthurdale Heritage, Inc. (AHI) when it began in 1984. She said, “The heritage of my community is special, and I am glad I have played a part in keeping it special for future generations.”

Marilee leaves behind a community and a world that is better because of her. We will miss her smiling face, dedication, and eternal optimism. We extend our deepest sympathy to Dave, her husband of 50 years. Donations in her memory can be made to the AHI volunteer legacy fund she created. Marilee Hall and her best friend for over 60 years, Shirley Nestor Nickerson in their spiffy jackets. Marilee had these jackets designed for her and Shirley to wear to a “Tire Kickers” car show event at Arthurdale Heritage. Marilee and Dave Hall truly enjoyed traveling and exhibiting their antique cars.
