Giving Tuesday at AHI

Great news! Starting precisely at 8 AM EST tomorrow Facebook and PayPal will match donations up to $7 million world wide!

Thanks to YOU, we have made incredible strides on our historic preservation efforts this year, specifically on our beloved Center Hall.

In 2020, however, we need $93,000 to complete critical repairs to its porch beams and roof, the back of the Craft Shop, and to the deteriorating roof on our museum building.

Please help us continue to preserve America’s first New Deal community; Eleanor Roosevelt’s “little village”! You must donate through Facebook for the donation to be matched: https://www.facebook.com/donate/1318717864978301/

Whether it’s $5 or $500, every tax-deductible dollar you give will help! Please be ready to donate at precisely 8 am so that your donation will be matched! We NEED and APPRECIATE YOU!
Thank you for your support!

Back of Craft Shop

The rotted wooden siding on the back of the Visitors Center/Craft Shop. This part of Center Hall operated as a craft shop in the 30s and still does today!

Cedar Shake Roof

The rotting roof on our museum building. This building was the administration building while Arthurdale was a federal project, from November of 1933-1947. It is now our beloved museum.
