Free Tickets to Tour the New Deal Homestead Museum

As part of the Smithsonian Museum’s Ninth Annual Museum Day, tours of Arthurdale Heritage’s five-building homestead community museum and special exhibits on Rt. 92 in Preston County will be free on September 28 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. with a Smithsonian ticket. Tickets are available at and must be presented for free admission. The Craft Shop, staffed by volunteers, features regional handcrafted items and will also be open. Over 1,400 museums will be open for free tours nationwide.
