Deborah Miller, January Volunteer of the Month

Deb became an associate board member in 1991 at the suggestion of Carolyn Zinn.
She served two terms on the board from 1992-1998.   As a Board member, Deb chaired the committee for “homecoming weekend.”

It was her vision that this event would become more than a community affair and have national significance.  With her help, the event was given a new name (“New Deal Festival”) and it was advertised in new markets.   The New Deal Festival continues to thrive thanks to Deb’s vision.

Her expertise and assistance with the endowment fund has also been vital to the success of AHI.

Currently,  Deb handles fundraising and AHI event publicity.
Deb’s tireless dedication to AHI is greatly appreciated!
