Arthurdale Heritage Welcomes Jeanne Goodman

Arthurdale Heritage, Inc. is pleased to welcome Jeanne Goodman to the organization as the new Executive Director starting April 1, 2010.

A native of Uniontown, PA, Jeanne has lived and worked in Morgantown for many years. Her most recent work involved managing clinical research grants in West Virginia University’s School of Medicine for the departments of Neurosurgery, Orthopaedics, and Community Medicine. In 2005 she earned a Master of Public Administration degree from WVU.

Many area residents may remember Jeanne as the original owner of Pinocchio’s Books and Toys in downtown Morgantown, which she ran for more than fifteen years. During this time, she was active in promotion and marketing the area through Mainstreet Morgantown. She was also a long-time board member of In Touch and Concerned, where she gained experience in non-profit fundraising.

According to Jeanne this is her “dream job” and she is looking forward to using the skills she’s honed over her many years of experience. She says, “I am looking forward to working with our volunteers to help Arthurdale Heritage continue to grow. I also hope that many of my friends will visit Arthurdale and get a personal tour of the site from me.”

We look forward to working with Jeanne and invite you to come and meet her in person!
