Arthurdale Contractor Wins Preservation Award!

Congratulations to Jeff Zinn of Gerald C. Zinn & Son for being awarded the Rodney Collins Preservation Achievement Award by the Preservation Alliance of West Virginia. Jeff was awarded for his fantastic preservation work at Arthurdale Heritage over the years, and we are lucky to have him working to maintain the six historic buildings in our care.

Jeff Zinn is unparalleled as a contractor, as a preservationist, and as a dear friend and supporter of AHI. His work along with his team’s is always high quality, historically accurate, and beautiful. During tours, visitors almost always comment on how fantastic our buildings have been kept up, and that is in large part, thanks to Jeff and his team. Their projects at Arthurdale have ranged from fixing a small leak to full-scale restoration.

Jeff is a huge supporter of AHI as well, often times donating his time, supplies, and knowledge to Arthurdale. His roots run deep in this community, not just because he works all throughout the Arthurdale, but because his grandparents, Martin Luther & Relda Marie Zinn, were original homesteaders here in the mid-1930s. Since then, the Zinn family has been living and working in Arthurdale, a legacy Jeff is proud to continue. Congrats Jeff and thank you!
