Arthurdale artifacts will be in the national spotlight! The National First Ladies Museum and Library in Canton, Ohio, has a new exhibition titled “Leaders in Literacy: First Ladies as Educators, Teachers, and Librarians,” which will open in April 2024. Multiple AHI artifacts including school books, woven textiles, pottery pieces, and a high school diploma will be on display to showcase First Lady Eleanor Roosevelt’s involvement in education in Arthurdale. This exhibition is free to visit and will be on view through April 2025. For more information about the exhibit, visit FirstLadies.org.
