Children’s Art Classes

Join us for art classes on Tuesdays this fall! Classes will run weekly from September 5 – November 14 at 4:30pm. These will be combined classes for ages 4-14. You can view all dates on our website and Facebook group where information on projects will also be posted. Dates will be posted to the main Arthurdale Heritage Facebook page monthly.
Classes will work to develop art skills and and understanding of a few famous artists and art historical movements that tie in with our lessons. On September 12 and October 31, we will have collaborative classes with Friends of Deckers Creek (FODC) for an art and STEM lesson. On September 26, we will have a FREE introductory quilting lesson taught by AHI Curator Elizabeth Satterfield.
All classes will be $5 per child to help cover expenses. If your family wants to attend but needs financial assistance, please reach out to us, and we will help! If you intend to attend the majority of the classes, you can pre-register for a set of 5 or 10 classes below and save! These pre-registration passes are non-refundable and do not carry over to the spring session.
