We’re excited to announce and invite you to our first Appalachian Voices literary event, presented by Friends of Deckers Creek on Saturday, Feb. 12 at Arthurdale Heritage Inc.’s historic Center Hall!

Join us for an evening of celebrating our Appalachian heritage, culture, and community with food, drinks, and diverse Appalachian talent. Explore our region’s relationship with the natural world through poetry readings, live bluegrass music, and storytelling!

We are so looking forward to connecting with our neighbors and friends again – starting community discussions, supporting a healthier watershed, and simply having a fun time! We hope to see you there.
