Children's Art Classes

We are excited to offer children's art classes during summer 2022!  There will be two classes every Friday from May 27-August 26 (except July 8 ).
The Little Artists class is aimed at ages 3-6 and will include a story time. The Art Explorers class is for ages 7 and up and will touch on aspects of art history.
Parents can also decide which class will be best for their child or for siblings; younger children should be able to do most of the things in the older kids class with help.
All classes will be $5 per child to help cover expenses. If your family wants to attend but needs financial assistance, please reach out to us, and we will help!
Information on fall classes will be posted later, and you can contact us with any questions!

Weaving Classes

Our weaving classes are taught by Linda Flemmer, and you will learn on one of our 14 historic looms.  You will begin by weaving mug rugs in a guided class with a pre-warped loom.  If you choose to continue, you will learn to warp your own loom and weave a sampler.  You will then begin your first real project to make a scarf.

If you would like further information about signing up for a weaving class, please contact us.

We are eager to begin teaching blacksmithing classes in the historic Lon Fullmer Forge, which is one of our original buildings that was erected in the 1930s.

If you would like further information about signing up for a blacksmithing class, please contact us.
