Arthurdale is a beautiful community for those who live here to call home! This summer Arthurdale Heritage will be hosting a Community Beautification Contest to inspire homeowners in Arthurdale to clean up and landscape their homes and yards to make our community an even more beautiful place to live! Contest rules and prizes are outlined below. Thank you very much to our sponsor, MountainPath Properties, for their support of this project.
Applications must be submitted by May 31, 2022. The contest will run through the summer with judging to occur on Labor Day, 2022.

Judging Standards
- Complete property improvements AND submit an application with up to five (5) “before” photos of your yard and the exterior of your home or project site no later than Labor Day (September 5, 2022).
- Properties must be located within the limits of Arthurdale.
- Entries must list the improvements thatyou intend to make to the property.
- The area that is improved must be visible from a public street or road.
Suggested Improvements
- Cutting, trimming and/or removing tall and unsightly weeds, grass, brush and trees
- Demolishing dilapidated and/or abandoned buildings
- Removing inoperable and junk automobiles, tractors, trucks & other equipment
- Removing debris, junk, tires, litter and trash
- Landscaping improvements to your property such as planting flowers
- Removing dirt, grass, brush and weeds from sidewalks and curbs
- New siding, windows, etc.
- Exterior painting
- Or more
Prize Information
An independent judging panel will evaluate all submissions on Labor Day and make their decisions at an event to be announced. The panel has sole discretion to determine contest winners.
1st Prize: $250 cash
2nd Prize: $125 cash
3rd Prize: $75 cash
