Arthurdale Driving Tour

Revisit the 1930s in Arthurdale, West Virginia with a free, self-guided driving tour of the community! Settled in 1934, Arthurdale originally featured 165 homes, a cooperative farm, health clinic, cemetery, inn, and its own progressive schools until 1947, when the federal government officially sold all its interest in the community.
