Eight years ago, Roz Watson had never even heard of Arthurdale! She was retired and living in California.
At the time, her daughter accepted a teaching position at WVU and Roz decided to leave CA and move closer to her daughter and grandchildren.
While looking for a place to live, a realtor showed her the community of Arthurdale and Roz fell in love with it immediately!
Shortly after moving into our community, Roz started volunteering at the Craft Shop.  This past summer, she was instrumental in getting the Saturday Community Farmer’s Market up and running!  Roz, who admits that she is “not a gardener” thought a Farmer’s market would be a great way for local residents to sell their excess produce.
During the Holiday season, Roz worked furiously to knit scarves for the Craft Shop.
Arthurdale Heritage is blessed to have Roz in our community! Thank you Roz for your time and dedication!
