Quilt, Knit, and Crochet at Arthurdale Heritage in February

Do you quilt, crochet or knit – or do you want to learn how? Both beginners and experienced crafters can improve their skills this month at Arthurdale Heritage. Classes are open to all experience levels, but students must preregister with the office at 304 864-3959. See the class schedule

On Friday February 18th at 6pm Tracy Strother will share her love of knitting during an hour-long introductory class for $5. You may bring your own needles and yarn or just learn from her examples. Two-hour-long classes will begin in March.

Janet Collins’ next quilting class will be making a handy craft tote bag on Saturday February 19th beginning at 9am. Students bring their own machines and materials. When you call the office to preregister, you will be given yardage needs.

The next Homestead Quilters Guild meeting is Monday February 21 at 6:30pm. There is no charge to attend and you can choose to work on the group project or bring one of your own.

Chris Shaffer enjoys teaching crochet to all skill levels. Get personal attention as Chris demonstrates how you can turn stitches into practical items. Bring your own yarn and hook. The next class is the same time as the quilt guild meeting – February 21st at 6:30pm.

Both the crochet and quilting class cost $12 for Arthurdale Heritage members and $14 for others. Contact Jeanne at the office if you have any questions or to preregister. You may also sign up to be notified by email or mail about future classes we will be offering in many other arts and crafts areas.
