Arthurdale artifacts will be in the national spotlight! The National First Ladies Museum and Library in Canton, Ohio, has a new exhibition titled “Leaders in Literacy: First Ladies as Educators, Teachers, and Librarians,” which will open in April 2024. Multiple AHI artifacts including school books, woven textiles, pottery pieces, and a high school diploma will be on display to showcase First Lady Eleanor Roosevelt’s involvement in education in Arthurdale.
