Join Arthurdale Heritage and Mountain Dragon Mazery for a night of learning and fun! If you’ve never tried mead (honey wine) before, now is your chance. Tom and Ruth from Mountain Dragon Mazery in Fairmont will teach you the history of mead and how to make it yourself, right at home! They will walk you through their process, teach you the lingo, and answer any questions you have about homebrewing. After the workshop, you will be able to sample 3 of their delicious meads. If that’s not enough, they are also offering a full tasting of all 9 meads and a souvenir glass for an additional $8! Folks will also be providing some nice music for our tasting and mingling time. Full bottles will also be available for sale.
You must be 21 to take this class. Pre-registration is required, and tickets are $15 for AHI members and $20 for non-members. The event begins at 6pm on Saturday, November 16th at our historic Center Hall in Arthurdale, WV. Arthurdale is located in Preston County and is just a short drive from Morgantown or Fairmont!
