Junior Appalachian Musicians (JAM) is an after-school program is being implemented in both Monongalia and Preston Counties at the Monongalia Arts Center and Arthurdale Heritage. Instruction at the MAC is on Wednesdays, 4:30pm – 6:30pm. Instruction at Arthurdale Heritage is on Mondays, 3:00pm – 5:00pm.
Full tuition is $270/semester ($15/week) from January 21 through May 30. The full semester tuition is requested up front. If you are unable to pay the full amount up front, please contact us and we will work with you on a payment plan. We strive to make JAM accessible to all students, no matter their family’s income threshold. We have a limited number of partial and full JAM scholarships available that will be awarded based on demonstration of need and availability.
To ensure quality classroom dynamics, JAM is limiting class sizes to a maximum of 8 students per class. If classes are full, your student will be added to a waitlist.
