Introduction to Tatting

Tatting is a form of lace-making that consists of making one particular knot over many times.  You do not need any experience with other forms of needle arts to accomplish the art of tatting.  It does take practice and lots of patience with oneself.  This is a very portable needle art and can be taken anywhere to practice and enjoy. I have been tatting for almost 25 years and I still consider myself a student.  That being said, I am in no position to judge the work of anyone else.  I enjoy teaching tatting and am looking forward to teaching anyone who wishes to learn.  I believe that it is easier to learn when someone is physically present to teach this art rather than learning from a book (but it can be accomplished).  I will provide the material necessary; however, if you have tools for tatting, then please feel free to bring them with you.

Cost is $35 for AHI members and $40 for non-members. All materials included. Pre-registration & pre-payment is required. Reserve your space today!  Payment can be made online, by mail or in the office.  PayPal class fee to: AHI@ArthurdaleHeritage.org.  Send your check to: AHI PO Box 850 Arthurdale, WV 26520
