Appalachia on the Screen-“Rosemary: A Community Activist Fighting for the Friendly City”

Join us on December 2 at 7 pm for a showing of Rosemary: A Community Activist Fighting for the Friendly City!

Rosemary: A Community Activist Fighting for the Friendly City is a PBS special about Rosemary Ketchum. Ketchum is the first openly transgender person elected to public office in West Virginia. In the documentary Rosemary discusses topics like her campaign, her gender identity, and her hopes for West Virginia. The WVPBS special was released in October of 2020.
