Craft Show and Fall Festival October 26th

It’s that time of year again! Arthurdale Heritage’s annual Craft Show and Fall Festival will be held Saturday, October 26th from 10-4 pm. Beautiful, handmade items from WV artisans will be for sale in our historic Center Hall and outside on the lawn. After shopping, take the kids on a hay ride or to get their face painted. They can also visit our homestead goats, and we will be telling spooky West Virginia ghost stories for older children.

In addition, Arthurdale resident and author Ann Pancake will be autographing copies of her novels from 10-12pm. A professor of creative writing at West Virginia University, her works focus on Appalachian stories. Come meet her and check them out!

Hungry? Delicious, homemade food will be available including Roger’s famous sloppy joe’s, Jeanie’s homemade potato soup, Dyanna’s cheesy broccoli soup, desserts and much more.

Haven’t had a chance to tour our museum yet? Our New Deal Homestead Museum and Homestead House will be open and available for you to tour! In our Forge we will also have the Appalachian Blacksmiths giving demonstrations.

FREE ADMISSION, FREE PARKING, GREAT FUN!
