Preston County History Day allows everyone, young and old, to appreciate the contributions of earlier Prestonians. Open for tours on Sunday, October 15 will be Arthurdale Heritage from 1:00 – 5:00; in Kingwood, the James McGrew House from 1:00 – 3:00 and the Preston Academy, 2:00 – 5:00; Szilagyi Center museums in Rowlesburg, 1:00 – 4:00; and three outdoor Civil War Trail sites in Aurora and Rowlesburg. Some sites charge admission. Parking is free.
