Donate Items for Preston County’s Day of Sharing
AHI is currently collecting blankets, hats, and gloves for the ‘Day of Sharing’ sponsored by Preston County Starting Points Family Resource Center on January 24th. All collected items will be distributed to Preston County families in need. Stop by during office hours to drop off donations.
Starting Points is sponsoring a collection of blankets, hats, and gloves with the help of the Americorps volunteers in Preston County. This event is in honor of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. The items collected will be given out to Preston County persons on January 24th as we work to collect data on our homeless population. Donations can be dropped off at bins at the Dollar General stores in Terra Alta & Kingwood, at the Eglon and Rowlesburg clinics, at the Arthurdale Heritage office, at the Hospice Thrift Store in Reedsville, and at Black Bear Burritos in Morgantown. Help us help those in need.
