January 16th: Arthurdale Heritage visited by WBOY and WDTV

Arthurdale resident, Darlene Bolyard, was interviewed by WDTV and WBOY about her upcoming visit to President Elect Obama’s Inauguration and to the Mid Atlantic States Official Presidential Ball.

Darlene will be blogging about both events onto the this very website (including photos and possibly video)!   Her coverage will start on Monday, 20 January with a visit to the FDR memorial, the Korean War Memorial and the Vietnam War memorial.

A special thank you to Congressman Mollohan for providing Darlene with tickets and to his staff for their terrific help organizing her visit!

Coverage will continue on Tuesday starting at 5:30 AM as she tries to board the Metro and make her way into DC; through security and onto the Swearing In grounds!
