Saturday, May 14 at 9am
Learn from recognized expert Jack Bell about selecting equipment; essential knots and how to tie them; what flies to use and when; basic casts and how to properly execute them. The class will start in Center Hall and then will move outside to a pond for practice. Bring your own equipment or rent it for $15.
Cost is $55 for members and $65 for others.

Wednesday, May 18 from 9:15am-4pm
Learn to turn paper strips into a beautiful framed floral picture with Reita Marks. Class size is limited to 6 students. Bring a ruler, small scissors, small task lamp if you have one, and some patience. Bring a brown bag lunch or run out to local restaurant.
Cost is $35 for members and $40 for non-members.

Saturday, June 4 9am-4pm
Mary Mason will teach you how to make a Beanpot basket about 8″ tall and 10″ across.
Class runs from 9am to 4pm; bring a brown bag lunch. Must have at least 12 people signed up two weeks before class begins so Mary can order your choice of reed. So register by Monday, May 23rd!
Cost is $55 for members and $65 for others.

Amy Nedrow will help you turn old jewelry into new bling. Bring 3 out-of-date or broken necklaces or bracelets, maybe more if you want to share with others.

Run or walk through history at our annual Roosevelt Run 5k in picturesque Arthurdale. Activities at the finish line for everyone. Kid’s race for those 10 and under begins at 9:45am. As the date gets closer, more information will be available here.

Tickets are now available in the office – buy your lucky number today! It’s just $35 for dinner and a chance to win 1 of 13 cash prizes plus 12 surprise gifts on the board. Improve your quilting skills with this intermediate class! Make a 45” x 58” easy lap quilt in one day with Judy Harder and Rhonda Braham. Bring a brown bag lunch and prepare to spend a fun day quilting.

Bring the the story you’ve always wanted to tell to life during this workshop with retired writing instructor Jo Ann Dadisman. Cost is $50 for members and $60 for non-members. Handouts and snacks will be provided – just bring your favorite notebook or laptop.
